CoffeeWithTheDead is a community and safe place for all folks spiritual, skeptical and in-between. We dabble in the paranormal/parapsychological side of life, with a bit of witchiness.

ParaAnne started SpiritsWake Paranormal at the age of 14 as a paranormal investigation group. Around the age of 16, she got the first bit of paranormal investigation equipment for Christmas. Along with an invite to The Somewhere Inn Time bed and breakfast in Ocean City, NJ. to investigate with the lead of the New Jersey Paranormal Research team. This is where she got her first E.V.P.

A few years later, ParaAnne had entered community college. Her history teacher mentioned Reiki. She stayed after class to talk about this with the teacher, and six months later, was a Usui Reiki Master Practitioner. Go figure…the instructor just so happened to be a Reiki teacher too!

In 2012, ParaAnne formed CoffeeWithTheDead, L.L.C. as an online spiritual community and began hosting live, video-driven episodes on YouTube. The show was based around interviews with paranormal investigators, authors, folks with stories and bands who fit the spooky vibe. After a short run, the show took an indefinite hiatus in 2015 with an ocassional show for special events.

March of 2024, an offer to partner up in a brick-and-mortar shop was offered, and CoffeeWithTheDead became really real! Having both an online and physical presence, ParaAnne has been able to grow the community, and begin doing public paranormal investigations along with seances and tarot readings.

Music may be tied as ParaAnne’s number one passion. A friendship with the local theater promises to open up opportunities to book bands looking for a new and historic venue to play. Slowly, but surely, CoffeeWithTheDead is growing <3
